Why is it that Andrew Breitbart was the only one to "get" the point of cropping the Sherrod tape (incl. Fox)?
Go ahead and check the archives if you want, other than Glenn Beck, Fox News condemned Sherrod just as much as the rest of the media. Now is that Fox’s fault, or were they MISLEAD like the rest of the media?
Glenn said that the words should be placed into context.
Hannity wanted her to resign.
O’Reilly wanted her to resign.
The media wanted her to resign.
But they were ALL mislead by Breitbart.

If you watch Fox News (or listen to right wing radio) you can easily see that they pick and choose stories and evidence and facts to support their conclusions. They can take a story off the wire services and just quote the parts that make Obama look bad, just tell one side of the story. In fact this is their whole reason for existence.
This includes taking a tape and just showing the parts that make their case. They did this with the Acorn tape that showed the couple trying to get govt. funding for a bordello, and now they did it with the Sherrod tape. In both cases, after everyone on the right got all outraged and everyone on the left got all apologetic and nervous, the full tapes came to light and we all saw it was a tempest in a teapot.
In fact, I’d go so far as to say that you couldn’t be a Glen Beck fan and know all the facts. Glen Becks whole program is to slant the facts to support a particular world view. Almost every argument he makes is based on -some- facts, and when you learn the rest of the facts he sounds really silly. He -knows- these facts (hell, I HOPE he does!) but he doesn’t point them out. Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Hannity, all those clowns do just exactly the same thing.
You can blame Fox too, of course, because they don’t fire people for lying, or even reprimand them. THEY certainly know they’re not ‘fair and balanced’. A real -news- network wouldn’t have only partisan shills on their staff. 8^)
Glenn Beck and Fox News were one of the FEW that said he words should be placed in context.
Obama fired her – and now is denying this… forcing his subordinates to rehire her.
