If this "passes" what's next in the Cloward/Piven playbook?

As I’m sure Obama assured Rep Luis Guiterrez, the next step is Amnesty for Illegals. Do the math folks. If 20 Million illegals are magically transformed into citizens…then allowed to import their family members in the name of "compassion" what’s that get you? A conservative estimate would be 60 MILLION or more!

The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their goal is to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change.

Is Amnesty for Illegals the next step in the playbook?

"We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America!" – Barack Obama

For the record I opposed this when Bush, McCain, and Graham were pushing it. In fact nearly 85% of the country did. Now we’ll see just how blind Obama’s followers are.
Think about this people. 60 Million is the population of Texas and California COMBINED!

Have you heard of the Cloward-Piven strategy?

"First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements — mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown — providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory.

This a Strategy for forcing political change through orchestrated crisis."

As Rahm Emanuel says, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste."

Can this be applied to either ruling party?

Another big spending bill up before Congress? Could they be imploying this stratgy?

This surely seems like a point in history (democratically controlled Congress and President) to make this kind of move.
The obama administration seems to have lots of "intellectuals" in his administration and afterall he was the most leftist Senator in Congress, doesn’t this make complete sense that they would give this a try?
Buckeye: The quotes were due to the fact that many of the people he has picked in his cabinet may have Ivy league pedigrees but when it comes to Constitutional sense, they have none.

Also, I would agree with you…Bernie Sanders is more leftist than Obama…I now believe he was the 2nd most leftist in Congress.
