Is MSNBC's Rachel Maddow correct when she said FOX News never criticized President Bush?

During her interview with Jon Stewart, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow claimed, "FOX News never criticized George W. Bush for anything. Even when he was doing things that were sort of not conservative. They never criticized him."

As an uninformed Liberal who worships MSNBC, I think she’s correct…as long as you forget these criticisms of Bush by FOX News:

"Yesterday [Bush] admitted to breaking the law, because authorizing wiretaps Wire Transfer Mutual Of Omaha Bank without search warrants is against the criminal law."
- Judge Andrew Napolitano, FNC Senior Judicial Analyst

"I’ve been a proponent of using 50,000 Guard to back up the Border Patrol. The administration won’t even try it."
- Bill O’Reilly (FOX News)

"And it turns out that we had false information. Condoleeza Rice I think said an untruth a number of times, saying the ones Iraq has can only be used for that. So you want to talk about truth? I think this administration has a big problem with the truth."
- Alan Colmes (FOX News)

"The leadership [of President Bush] is in question. Former FEMA head Michael Brown has basically defended his agency’s dismal performance in the days after Katrina. And now we have a ballooning gas price situation that is hurting millions of Americans."
- Bill O’Reilly (FOX News)

"I, for the life of me, considering this is our No. 1 vulnerability, why would the president do this? Is it for votes?"
- Sean Hannity (FOX News)

"This new Patriot Act, consistent with the old one, would allow the FBI to bypass the constitution. Wrong, dangerous, and obviously unconstitutional."
- Judge Andrew Napolitano (FOX News)

"I’m going to be against George Bush for the next four years…. I don’t agree with him. It’s in the democracy. I’ve got a right not to agree with the son of a–the guy."
- Bob Beckel, FNC Conributor

"Mr. Bush has two choices. He can explain the Kay report and admit the mistakes made. Or he can ignore the issue, hoping Americans will ignore it come next November."
- Bill O’Reilly (FOX News)

"FEMA should stop watching TV and get housing and emergency plans together. And if they have any extra time they should come on TV and explain what they’re doing. Are we really paying federal bureaucrats to watch TV and complain?"
- John Gibson (FOX News)

"The Clinton administration decided they’d try to do something about it, then they threw up their hands and said we can’t. The Bush administration the same thing."
- Tony Snow (FOX News)

"Polls say that 70 percent of Americans want the borders tightened up. The Bush administration hasn’t done it."
- Bill O’Reilly (FOX News)

"Like Mr. Clinton, President Bush didn’t do much to protect us. Yes, they both say we should develop alternative fuel, but little concrete action has been taken."
- Bill O’Reilly (FOX News)

"And let me show you something that President Bush, a commercial that President Bush ran during his last campaign for president…. He ran a commercial using a little girl who lost her mother during 9-11 and used that and that helped sell him to the American people."
- Alan Colmes (FOX News)

"The government’s appetite for [NSA] spying on Americans is so voracious it must be restrained. This is not East Germany."
- Judge Andrew Napolitano (FOX News)

"Pat Tillman was given the third highest medal this country gives for heroism, the silver star….somebody should go to jail for lying."
- Col David Hunt, FNC Military Analyst

"For the life of me, I can’t figure out why President Bush isn’t more proactive on the environment. … Today we find out that the White House tried to sanitize a government study on global warming. Instead of including both points of view on the issue, the Bush people have shaded the report to the side that sees warming as bogus."
- Bill O’Reilly (FOX News)

"How the hell did this [Gitmo] happen? I mean, how did we veer so far from the constitution for so long?"
- Shepard Smith (FOX News)

Do you think it's a good question to ask if Obama is a Marxist?

In his New York Times column today, Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol claimed that Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-IL) now-infamous “bitter” remarks sound like Karl Marx’s “famous statement about religion.” On the Brian and the Judge radio show today, Fox News’ senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano asked Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) if Obama is “a Marxist as Bill Kristol says might be the case?”

“I must say that’s a good question,” replied Lieberman

    What's your opinion?

When 17-year-old Andrew Larochelle of Dayton, Ohio, crafted a plan to send his grandfather the gift of a flag that had flown over the U.S. Capitol, he never thought his sentiments about "God, country and family" would be questioned.

The Eagle Scout was surprised, however, when the personal inscription he requested attached to a flag he purchased from the U.S. Capitol was censored. The teen said he wrote, "In honor of my grandfather Marcel Larochelle, and his dedication and love of God, country and family."

The flag flew on Sept. 11, Marcel Larochelle’s birthday. But when Andrew finally received the flag in the mail on Sept. 30, "God" was taken out of his note.

"I was shocked that the word ‘God’ would be taken off a personal message from my son to his grandfather," Andrew’s father, Paul Larochelle, told FOX News.

The family contacted Rep. Michael Turner, R-Ohio, who had sought to fulfill the flag request. Turner requested an explanation for the omission from the Architect of the Capitol, the office responsible for flying American flags momentarily over the Capitol and then sending them to constituents who request them, all for a fee of .

Turner said he was told that AoC rules do not allow religious expressions on flag certificates.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has defended the omission made by acting Architect Stephen T. Ayers, and said she has no plans to change the existing rules.

House Republicans, however, have a different take. They say the Capitol has many religious expressions and Congress begins each day with a prayer. They want new rules allowing religious expressions on flag certificates. They also note that the message wasn’t written by Congress but by a private citizen to another private citizen.

"This practice, which overturns a longstanding and long cherished congressional tradition, has rightly drawn outrage from the American people, who have grown weary of endless attempts by politicians and bureaucrats to bar the word God and even the most tacit references to faith from our public institutions," House Minority Leader John Boehner wrote in a letter to Pelosi.

Boehner said as speaker, Pelosi can instruct the acting Architect of the Capitol to set aside the written policy of his predecessor and restore the practice of including God’s name.

To compromise, Rep. Robert A. Brady, chairman of the House Administration Committee, which oversees the Architect of the Capitol, has suggested allowing a uniform certificate of authenticity and then giving each congressional office latitude to handle personal inscriptions. Turner has said he is considering legislation to repeal the AoC rule.

FOX News’ Major Garrett contributed to this report.

Should FOX's commentator Juan Willams be FIRED for Frankness and honesty about Muslims?

Fact is that News commentators give their opinion constantly, liberal hype, fear mongering and also many times political agendas mandated or encouraged by the network.

Why is it okay to FIRE Juan Williams for stating what many of us feel and rightly so? In answer to Atlantic’s Drew Sullivan ridiculous analogy below that if I was in a secluded spot and "saw a black man walking down the street in classic thug get-up" I would hope I had some mace or just quickly leave the area!! Do you think this liberal race/religious affiliation-card bit has gotten out of hand?

Below is the article from Ya!

"Fox News host Bill O’Reilly stirred up controversy last week on "The View" after making the blanket statement that "Muslims killed us on 9/11," a comment that led to co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walking off the set.
On Monday, O’Reilly asked Williams if there is a "Muslim dilemma" in the United States. The NPR analyst and longtime Fox News contributor agreed with O’Reilly that such a thing exists, and added that "political correctness can lead to some kind of paralysis where you don’t address reality."
I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot," Williams continued. "You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous."
Some commentators and a leading Muslim civil rights organization took issue with Williams’ comments.
The Atlantic’s Andrew Sullivan wrote Wednesday morning that Williams’ statement about fearing Muslims on planes is an example of bigotry. "What if someone said that they saw a black man walking down the street in classic thug get-up," Sullivan wrote. "Would a white person be a bigot [if] he assumed he was going to mug him?’

Should Obama appoint Judge Andrew Napolitano to the Supreme Court?

Napolitano, a Fox News personality and libertarian judge, could bring this country together. Napolitano is a very strong supporter of both personal liberty and economic liberty. He hosts the libertarian program Freedom Watch on FoxNews.com where he reports on violations of civil liberties, personal liberties, and economic liberties.

Obviously, Napolitano’s strong support of civil liberties will appeal to many progressives and presumably Republicans are not going to filibuster a Fox News personality.

Considering how deeply divided our country is at this moment, wouldn’t it be good for our country if we had a Supreme Court justice with bipartisan support?
