How does affiliate marketing work?

That is a good question that because when it comes to making money, affiliate programs are the best. Here is why. You don’t have to have a product to get started. You don’t have to have a huge budget to get started you don’t even have to have your own website to start making money online with affiliate marketing.

I am not saying that you don’t need any money because no ligitimate business opportunity can make that claim. So don’t be fooled by affiliate marketing scams or people disqising scams as the best affiliate marketing programs.

How do affiliate marketing programs work is simple. Affiliate marketing is when you promote another company’s website in return for a commission. The commission can be generated in a number of ways, though the most common is when a sale or lead is actually made from your advertising methods.

A company that sells goods or services will allow other people or businesses to become an affiliate. They can then refer customers to company’s website to buy products. This is also know as driving traffic. You are given an affiliate link that you use to promote the product or services.

When a customer visits the site they are given a cookie to track the purchase and when a purchase is made throught your affiliate link then you are credited with the sale. Depending on whether the product you promote is a physical product or a digital product will determine the percentage you make on each sale.

Typically on physical products the percentage is less because the shipping and storage and other expenses associated with the product must be paid as well. Digital products on the other hand you can make 50% or more per sale because of ease of delivery to the customer.
 
All this makes it appealing for more companies to do business in this manner. They can reduce expenses tremendously. These are a few of the many ways that make this such a remarkable and profitable business model that attracts super affiliates from all over the world to promote product for these companies.

The term super afffiliate was a name given to individuals who have set themselves as a cut above the masses in this massive industry. Incomes of well over 6 figures a month is not uncommon to these top affiliate marketers.

The only thing that I can really say negative about this product is that there is a lot of material and it is going to take a couple of hours to get through all of the lessons though you can print the transcripts and use them to make notes as you review the videos it is a very good way to soak it all up.
