Fox News/Breitbart fans, please justify this?

About this Sherrod thing.

Ok, there are a lot of different angles to this story, the NAACP, Obama’s response, the speech itself. But there is one angle which I feel has been painfully under reported. Andrew Breitbart is an influential Internet reporter, and in this case, perhaps others, he didn’t bother to check his sources. I’ve never taken a journalism class in my life and I think that’s pathetic. It’s like a doctor not washing his hands before surgery. It’s an embarrassment to journalism ethics.

And yet Fox only mentions this in passing, and his only appearance on Fox was on Hannity! HANNITY. For God’s sake, if he showed up on O’Reily he would have gotten drilled to the wall on this issue, but he picked the one host who would look past his complete and utter failure as a journalist. You can see it all in a video entitled "Andrew Breitbart Defends Sherrod story" It’s found right next to the video called "NAACP Race Card Fraud"

Now I’ve heard the reason that Brietbart didn’t have the time. But how could he not have the time to fact check a video that is years old? That makes no sense to me. Nor can I understand why a network that prides itself on being fair and balanced, and according to O’Reily is as a result increasing viewership completely ignore this angel to the Sherrod story. Could somebody explain this to me.

This is a case for the court to decide if Mrs. Sherrod wants to pursue this issue. If Briebart slandered this woman and his action caused her injury he should pay the cost of his action. Fox is a propaganda arm of the GOP/Teabag party. The purpose of this organization is to destroy anyone or any organization that isn’t fully on board with the aims of the political reactionaries that hijacked the GOP and organized the Teabag Party to advance the interests of the world’s largest and richest corporations. Anyone who stands up for the 95% of Americans who work exclusively for wages or who fights for job security, affordable higher education and affordable health insurance for the American wage earner is targeted for political or social assassination. Fox has encouraged and even promoted many ‘journalists’ to do this kind of ‘search and destroy’ editorializing. While FOX has ‘free speech rights’, the deliberate use of half lies, half truths, exaggerated narrative and disinformation for the purpose of defaming individuals is actionable in court. If proved to be ‘guilty’ of this practice FOX itself should be sanctioned as well. Only the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is honorable…anything short of that is despicable.
