As per the legends, China's emperor during the Han Dynasty wanted to create a magnanimous court that had the mountains, lakes, rivers, valleys and trees that can be found within his widespread territory. To cheer the Emperor, his royal subjects grew pocket-sized trees to fit into the arrangement of the courtyard. Since then, the bonsai tree was taken as a valuable furniture for all people in the kingdom for several generations.

Bonsai Preparing In Japan

Along with the Chinese, the Japanese people affected the skill of making minuscule trees. The skill of preparing baby-sized trees was passed on to the monks of Japan around the Japanese Heian era from 794 to 1191. The Zen Buddhist began managing bonsai trees in their monasteries by embracing the guidelines used by the Chinese. Various people visited the monasteries and were bewildered by the miniature trees. Soon from then on, some people belonging to the royal community began to cultivate bonsai plants in their homes, making the bonsai plant a figure of honor and prestige in the Japanese community.
